Undine Maskew
Undine Maskew qualified as a goldsmith after completing a 5-year apprenticeship in South Africa under master goldsmith David Bolding. Since moving to England in 1993, she has worked with some of the finest costume jewellery designers and manufacturers in the country. In 2002, she decided to branch out on her own to explore and combine her extensive experience in both fine and costume jewellery.
Her undeniably unique style is refreshing and daring. She boldly contrasts heavy silver and precious metals with the delicate colours, sparkles and femininity of tiny jewels. Drawing on her extensive travels throughout the world, she puts together textures, materials, shapes, even sounds in ways that constantly surprise and delight.
Her jewellery provides expression for every mood and occasion and is truly wearable. It is for real women, for women who are as comfortable and beautiful at home as they are in the boardroom or at the most elegant social occasion.
